A real campsite, with real amenities.
Sleeps up to 8 per site
Big enough for a family-sized tent or a couple of smaller tents. 4 tent sites available on the property.
Picnic table + fire ring
Every site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Real campsite, not an afterthought.
Walk-in sites (no parking on site)
Cars park in a nearby lot — you walk in. This keeps the tent area quiet and free of vehicle dust.
Pet-friendly
$10 per night, per pet. Bring the dog — there are creek paths and trails next door.
Bathhouse + showers nearby
Hot showers, flush toilets, and laundry a short walk away. Real plumbing, not pit toilets.
General store + free canoes
Firewood, ice, beer, food at the on-site store. Free canoes on Fort Creek for guests.
Important: Tent sites are walk-in only. No parking IN the site itself and no car camping / pop-up car-topper tents. If you need to camp from your vehicle, book a Partial RV Site instead — those allow car campers and pop-up tents.

Common questions
Before you pitch.
- What's included with a tent site?
- A grass tent pad, a picnic table, and a fire ring. The bathhouse is a short walk for hot showers and flush toilets. The general store stocks firewood, ice, and food. Sleeps up to 8 per site.
- Is there water or power at the tent site?
- No — tent sites do not include water or power hookups. The bathhouse is a short walk for water and bathrooms. If you need power or water at your site, book a Partial RV Site instead.
- Can I car camp or use a pop-up car/truck topper tent?
- Not at our tent sites — there's no vehicle parking IN the tent site itself. Car camping and pop-up car/truck topper tents must be booked at a Partial RV Site (which has parking + power + water at the site). Tent sites are walk-in only.
- How many people can sleep at one tent site?
- Up to 8 per site. Big enough for a family-sized 6–8 person tent or a couple of smaller backpacking tents.
- Is it pet-friendly?
- Yes — pets are welcome at the tent sites. $10 per night, per pet. There are leash-friendly paths along Fort Creek.
- Are the tent sites creekside?
- Some sites sit close to Fort Creek; others are tucked deeper into the pines. There are 4 tent sites total. If creekside is important, mention it when you book — we'll match you to the best available.
- How far is the tent site from Crater Lake National Park?
- 7 miles from the south entrance — about a 30-minute drive to the rim. We're the closest year-round campground to the south gate.
- Are tent sites open in winter?
- Tent sites are most popular in summer and shoulder seasons. Winter camping is allowed when the weather cooperates — call (541) 381-2349 if you're planning a winter trip to confirm conditions.
- Is there a dump station?
- Yes — the on-site dump station is available to all guests. Not usually needed for tent campers, but it's there if you came in a vehicle.
- Can I buy firewood on site?
- Yes — the general store stocks bundled firewood. Pick up a few bundles on the way to your site and skip the foraging.
- Is there Wi-Fi at the tent sites?
- Yes — complimentary Wi-Fi reaches most of the property. Rural location so speeds are best for streaming and browsing; bring a hotspot if you need bulletproof connectivity.
- What time is check-in / check-out?
- Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM.
- Can a group book multiple tent sites together?
- Yes — we have 4 tent sites and can usually cluster them for a group. Call (541) 381-2349 or mention it in your booking note.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- 100% refund if cancelled 30+ days prior. No refund for cancellations within 29 days, late check-in, early check-out, or weather (unless the resort closes for an emergency).
