The capsule isn't a cabin and isn't a tent. It's a small, modern, purpose-built room dropped at the edge of the lagoon. Glass on three sides. Heat for winter, AC for summer. Step out the door onto a private deck — and the lagoon is right there.

- How many people does the capsule sleep?
- Two — one full-size bed. The capsule is purpose-built for couples. For groups of three or more, look at our cabins or the vacation home.
- Does the capsule have a bathroom inside?
- Yes — a private bathroom with a shower is inside the capsule. (Unlike our glamping tents, which use the shared bathhouse.)
- Is there a kitchen?
- Yes — a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, and a small sink. Great for breakfast in bed; not built for cooking a full dinner.
- Is the capsule pet-friendly?
- No — pets are not allowed in the capsule. If you're traveling with a dog, our cabins and glamping tents are pet-friendly.
- Where is the capsule located on the property?
- Right on the lagoon at the resort — separate from the cabins, glamping tents, and RV sites. Floor-to-ceiling glass faces the water; the deck steps out toward the pines.
- How does the capsule handle extreme weather?
- The capsule has a swamp-cooler AC for warm months and a space heater for cold months. In extreme summer heat or extreme winter cold, the small footprint can make the temperature less comfortable than a traditional cabin. If you have temperature sensitivity, book a cabin instead.
- How many capsules are on the property?
- One — and only one. The newest accommodation we have. Books early, especially summer weekends.
- Is the capsule open year-round?
- Yes — open every season. Climate control is more modest than the cabins (swamp-cooler + space heater), so most folks book it during shoulder seasons and mild-weather windows.
- How far is the capsule from Crater Lake National Park?
- 7 miles from the south entrance — about a 30-minute drive to the rim.
- Is there Wi-Fi?
- Yes — complimentary Wi-Fi reaches the capsule. Rural location so speeds are best for streaming and browsing, not heavy video calls.
- Is there laundry on site?
- Yes — shared resort laundry facilities are available on the property. Bring your own detergent or grab some at the general store.
- What time is check-in / check-out?
- Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- 100% refund if cancelled 30+ days prior. No refund for cancellations within 29 days, late check-in, early check-out, or weather (unless the resort closes for an emergency).
